Classic four-hole Codelite buttons in a semi-translucent tortoiseshell pattern, available in 15mm, 20mm and 25mm sizes.

The buttons are biodegradable, compostable and plastic-free, with each one having its own distinctive tortoiseshell pattern.

A particularly good choice for coats, jackets, knitwear and tailoring.

Made from milk

Codelite is made from casein, a protein naturally found in milk. The casein is recovered from milk, cured and hardened before being turned into buttons. The resulting buttons are sturdy and hard-wearing, while being biodegradable, compostable and plastic-free. Made in the UK, they offer an interesting alternative to conventional plastic buttons.

Caring for your buttons

Wash Care

Corozo and Codelite buttons are machine washable. We recommend using a low temperature and washing with similar coloured fabrics. Do not soak.
