5cm Vintage Gold Nurse Waspie Cinch Belt Buckle

A vintage-style metal belt buckle with an easy-to-use clasp fastening, ideal for making an elasticated nurse belt, waspie belt or cinch belt.

This gold buckle is Kleins of London deadstock and is particularly useful for costume, theatre and dressmaking projects where you need a distinctive clasp fastening for a wide elasticated belt.

The buckle works particularly well with 45mm to 50mm wide elastic and can be used to create a nurse-style belt, waspie belt or cinch belt. It is also suitable for costume and theatrical garments, vintage-inspired clothing and other dressmaking projects.

Where is it from? Kleins of London were established in 1936, famously supplying film, theatre and independent designers with the very best in textile trimmings from their shop in Soho London for over 80 years and recently closed due to retirement.

AGE: Some of these items are older stock and may show signs of age which we will always try to describe accurately. Ages of deadstock items are our best guess.

CUT LENGTHS: We sell cut length by the metre (unless otherwise stated). We will always try to send a continuous length of any trims and fabrics, but due to the nature of deadstock this may not be possible and some items may be sent with joins.

SAMPLES & STOCK LEVELS: As these are deadstock items when they are gone, they’re gone! We will not be ordering more and as our deadstock sells so fast so we are unable to offer samples but you are able to purchase a metre.
