The Cummerbund or the popular misspelled Cumberband was first used by the British military in India and is taken from the word kamarband, which literally means waist band. Victorian fashionistas soon adopted the cummerbund as part of a formal tuxedo set and it is still used today for formal occasions.
Uses: Ideal for cummerbunds and other attire where a hook and loop is needed.

Where is it from? Kleins of London were established in 1936, famously supplying film, theatre and independent designers with the very best in textile trimmings from their shop in Soho London for over 80 years and recently closed due to retirement.
